Jon Jones morphs into a different character on the eve of his fights and once he enters the Octagon. During the weigh-ins for UFC on Versus 2, he didn't go nose-to-nose with his opponent like he did at the last weigh-in with Brandon Vera but Jones was intense. Jones (10-1, 4-1 UFC) stared down Vladimir Matyushenko (24-4, 5-2 UFC) and looked about ready to hyperventilate.
Everyone on the card made weight except for DaMarques Johnson. The Season 9 of "The Ultimate Fighter" alum missed the welterweight limit at 172.5 pounds. He came out a few minutes later to weigh in without his trunks and still missed. It must've been a taxing weight cut because Johnson elected not to take the rest of the alloted hour and sweat off the rest of the weight. Johnson agreed to fight at 172 and therefore forfeits 20 percent of his purse. It was interesting to hear that former UFC heavyweight and the man who ended Fedor Emelianenko's 10-year unbeaten streak, Fabricio Werdum was in attendance. According to media down in San Diego, the fans lined up to get an autograph from Werdum. UFC on Versus 2 weigh-in (Courtesy MMAJunkie): Versus card
