Heavy on looks, the 'Ultimate Women Challenge' should get a TV slot
We have no idea if more than a few of the women can actually fight and the show may be absolutely dreadful but it looks like the 'Ultimate Women Challenge' nailed one area. They put together a nice looking collection of women and that may be the only way the show actually makes to its intended destination, NBC. It may not make hardcore MMA fans happy and there will certainly be a good portion of the female MMA community that won't like the show but it's probably taken the right approach. The show, which no surprise appears to be a female version of the UFC's "Ultimate Fighter, was supposed to debut this month. No word yet officially. We tracked down this Tracy Lee photoshoot from what looks like a portion of the show filmed at The Gun Store in Las Vegas. The women are certainly fit and could sell well on television. It also has a big time host in Joanna Krupa of "Dancing with the Stars" fame. Longtime MMA chick Amber Nichole also has a role on the show. That should be a sight. As you can see she's gotten a lot smoother. Nichole's featured in this meeting of the minds with rising MMA media star Skee outside the Throwdown Gym in Las Vegas.
